Getting that monkey off your back sure is a glorious thing. It wasn’t easy, but that just makes it that much better. After 29 years, NC State women’s basketball is on top of the ACC once again. Who knows, maybe this’ll open the floodgates.
The Wolfpack rallied from five points down in the last few minutes to seize this one, and I’d say that makes for plenty of disappointment in the past. They weren’t gonna be denied this time.
