Senior guard Saniya Rivers has reached a milestone few ever achieve, surpassing 1,000 career points and becoming the 39th player in NC State history to do so.
Rivers scored 17 points today, making 7 of her 11 shots. She also led the Pack with three steals and grabbed six rebounds.
Rivers now has a total of 1,006 career points. She scored the first 61 points of her career at South Carolina, where she played her freshman season before transferring to NC State. If Rivers maintains her current scoring average, she would finish the regular season with 1,115 points, ranking her 34th in school history.
