UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Madison Hayes of the NC State women’s basketball team has signed a training camp contract with the Connecticut Sun, the organization announced Monday.
Hayes played four years at NC State and was known as the team’s “glue,” doing anything it took for the team to win and mostly playing out of position this season. The Chattanooga, Tennessee product ended her career with 131 games played, the third most of those who played four years in NC State history. She started in 98 games in a Wolfpack uniform, including 73 straight, which was a team’s most, as well as finished her career with a streak of playing 105 straight games.
