NC State will kick off their 2025 baseball season today in a three-game series with Fordham, featuring a double-header today and a third game tomorrow. Before they run out onto Doak Field, here’s a preview of the Rams.
Last year, Fordham was 19-33 overall, and 10-14 in the Atlantic 10, finishing 10th in the conference (out of 12). In the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, the Rams were picked to finish 11th. Fordham is looking for their first winning season since 2021.
The Rams have 17 new players on their roster in 2025.
Junior third baseman Daniel Bucciero is the best player in the Rams’ lineup, with D1Baseball ranking him as the #42 third baseman heading into the 2025 season.
