For a good chunk of the game Thursday night, NC State did a good job overcoming obstacles, whether those obstacles happened to be officiating or its own spans of poor play. The Wolfpack didn’t play well overall, and eventually that caught up to them in a 78-75 loss to Georgia Tech.
The second half was defined by State’s inability to get stops—Georgia Tech scored 47 points over the final 20 minutes, which is just plain unacceptable. And also a good indicator that it’s not your night. The Yellow Jackets had the answers and the better execution in crunch time, and, well, this shit happens.
