RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) North Carolina State running back Shadrach Thornton is facing legal troubles again.
Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue said Thornton was arrested on Tuesday after he struck a pedestrian while riding a moped motorcycle on a sidewalk near campus. In an email, Sughrue said the pedestrian suffered ''non-life-threatening'' injuries, and that Thornton was later located nearby and taken into custody without incident.
Last year's leading rusher recently returned from a two-game suspension for a violation of athletic department policy.
