Paul Johnson retiring as Georgia Tech head football coach

Georgia Tech confirmed today that Paul Johnson will be retiring after the Yellow Jackets bowl game.

“After 40 years of coaching, it’s time to take a break.”

Johnson was 83-59 in 11 seasons at Georgia Tech. His best season with GT came in 2014 when the Yellow Jackets went 11-3 with an Orange Bowl victory.
