Sweezy was asked if he would move from Defensive Line to Offensive Line prior to the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seahawks. He obliged, and Seattle drafted him in the final round.
That decision 8 years ago has to be one of the best decisions of his life. After starting 3 games as a rookie filling in for an injured starter, Sweezy has been a starting Offensive Linemen in the NFL ever since.
Last year was Sweezy’s first year in Arizona, and his overall grade via ProFootballFocus of 61.6 was his highest since 2015. Sweezy’s Pass Block Grade of 71.
