Jonas Pope IV of the News and Observer started a new series this Fall called “Riding With Recruits”, where he interviews a prominent local high school recruit, and does a Q&A with them while they give him a tour of their town. In his most recent one, NC State 2019 commit Savion Jackson (DE), the #1 player in the state of North Carolina (ESPN) was riding shotgun.
Jackson talks about his belief that every aspect of the football program is on the rise, and he believes the 2019 recruiting class is insane. He also addresses 4-Star Safety JR Walker choosing Virginia Tech over NC State, how important his mother is to him, and how he wants to be remembered.
