NC State just shared that Guard Kam Woods has been denied a waiver for immediate eligibility by the ACC. They also announced that they will be appealing the NCAA’s decision.
Walker played for North Carolina A&T last year, averaging 17.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals. He led A&T in points, assists and three-pointers, and earned Second Team All-CAA honors.
Prior to heading to Greensboro, Walker played for Northwest Florida State Community College, where he averaged 11.0 points, and shot 38.5% from beyond the arch. Ultimately, Woods was key in leading NFSCC to the NJCAA National Championship.
