NC State Guard Thomas Allen announced he will be having surgery on his ankle this Wednesday.
After playing only 19 minutes against Michigan on February 28th, Allen wouldn’t play for Nebraska again in 2018-19, sitting out the Cornhusker’s final 7 games.
The extent of Allen’s injury is unknown.
Allen will have plenty of time to recover, sitting out the upcoming season due to NCAA transfer rules. He started 25 of the 29 games he played in this year, averaging 8.7 points, shooting 36.4% from beyond the arch as a Sophomore.
On April 2nd, Allen announced he was transferring from Nebraska, and committed to NC State on April 5th.
