NC State Point Guard Jarkel Joiner was named a Co-ACC Player of the Week for his performances against Syracuse and rival UNC last week.
Joiner averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals in games against Syracuse and North Carolina. The Oxford, Mississippi, native posted the fifth triple-double in NC State program history with 15 points, career-high 11 assists and 10 rebounds at Syracuse. The triple-double was the 38th in ACC history and just the 14th in a league game. He followed it up by tying a season high with a 29-point performance against UNC, with 20 coming in the second half.
