After not seeing the floor on Saturday, NC State’s Mohamed Diarra and DJ Horne both made their debut in the 2024 NBA Summer League yesterday.
The two former Wolfpack Basketball players are playing in the California Classic Summer League, which features the Warriors, Lakers, Heat, Kings, Spurs, Hornets and the Chinese National Team. It’s a 12-game event.
Yesterday, Mohamed Diarra made the most of his 14 minutes, pulling down 6 rebounds and blocking 3 shots in the Lakers’ 68-92 loss to the Warriors. He also dished out 2 assists.
DJ Horne had 6 points (2-7 FG/1-6 3PT) and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes of play in the Spurs’ 59-85 loss to the Kings.
