RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State third baseman Alec Makarewicz was named to the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings All-Atlantic Region First Team, as announced by the ABCA on Tuesday morning.
Makarewicz, who has already been named Second Team All-ACC and was the NCAA Raleigh Regional’s Most Outstanding Player, adds yet another personal accolade to a sensational season for the Wolfpack. The third baseman leads NC State with a .380 batting average, 80 RBI, 22 homers, 95 hits and a .744 slugging percentage.
The Longwood, Florida native leads NC State with a .414 batting average so far in the NCAA Tournament, pacing the Pack with 12 hits, five doubles and 26 total bases.
