Saturday brought the Pack their first commitment of the 2017 class. High 3-star cornerback Chris Ingram picked the Wolfpack over offers from Clemson, Duke, ECU, and North Carolina. Ingram, who checks in a 6’0" 175, is ranked the number nine prospect in the state of North Carolina.

Ingram admittedly grew up a big fan of North Carolina, so count this a double win for NC State. The Mooresville product's stat line was solid during his sophomore season, as he accounted for 33 tackles, 3 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, and 7 passes broken up.
