It’s a credit to Pat Popolizio that we take for granted NC State’s wrestling success. He’s done an incredible job here. And it’s not weird or strange to see NC State out-recruiting more traditional wrestling powers.
NC State landed a top-10 class in 2020 and likely will do the same in 2021, thanks in no small part to the addition of top-10 prospect Stevo Poulin. Poulin is mildly internet famous—a highlight video of him as an 8-year-old with a mohawk went viral a decade ago. You can see why.
