NC State Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Jalen Coit is entering the Transfer Portal.
Coit’s primary role the past two years has been returning punts. In 2023, he averaged 10.4 yards per put, which ranked 3rd in the ACC and 17th in the FBS. This year, the Wolfpack only returned 10 punts, and Coit returned 5, and Sophomore Wide Receiver Kevin Concepcion returned 5. Coit averaged 7.4, and Concepcion averaged 9.0
That means that NC State will be looking for a new Punt Returner in 2025, with Coit and Concepcion both entering the Transfer Portal.
