INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the first time in school history, the NC State women’s tennis team has been selected to host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship. The top 16 teams have the opportunity to host, and the Pack is currently tabbed at No. 12 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings.
The Wolfpack (22-6) will compete at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center on NC State’s campus, taking on VCU (18-5) in the first round on Saturday, May 4. Times for this weekend’s matches are to be announced.
The selection marks the fourth consecutive year of NCAA postseason competition for the Pack, the longest streak in the history of the program.
