A successful program tends to be beneficial to everybody involved, the assistant coaches included. Wes Moore has seen several of his staff members leave for promotions elsewhere, and the latest to do so is Lindsay Edmonds, who accepted the head coaching job at Rice.
Edmonds had been on staff at NC State since 2013 and earned a promotion to associate head coach in 2019. She also had a big hand in the Wolfpack’s successful recruiting efforts.
She is the third member of Moore’s staff at State to move on to a head coaching job, joining Gene Hill (Georgia State) and Simon Harris (East Tennessee State).
