The women’s basketball selection committee revealed its latest top 16 on Monday night—these are the top four seeds in each region, and all of them will get to host games during the first two rounds. So, y’know, it helps a lot to be in this group.
NC State is the No. 9 overall seed in the field at this point, making it the top three-seed. The selection committee has the ladies in a region with No. 1 Baylor, No. 2 Iowa, and No. 4 Texas A&M.
The Pack is 2-2 against other teams in the top 16, with wins over Syracuse and Miami and losses to Notre Dame and Louisville.
