NC State won its sixth straight baseball game yesterday, defeating Wright State 6-4 at home in Game 1 of a three-game series.
Junior Dominic Fritton was electric, notching his second consecutive quality start with 10+ strikeouts. He allowed only one earned run in 6.2 innings, striking out 10 on 103 pitches. This marked the third 10+ strikeout performance of his career and his fourth quality start. Fritton picked up the win and now holds a 2-1 record with a 1.25 ERA.
The Wolfpack bats have been on fire lately, and yesterday was no exception, as they tallied 10 hits.
