Junior Safety Tim Kidd-Glass has officially decided to transfer from NC State, and enter the transfer portal.
Kidd-Glass has yet to use his Redshirt, so he will have to sit a year, but should still have two years of eligibility wherever he lands.
In 2017, he started 9 games at Free Safety. The starting job was opened up with an injury to starter Dexter Wright. With the return of Wright last season, Kidd-Glass played most of last season as a reserve behind him. Last year, he finished with 31 tackles and 2 pass breakups.
With Sophomore Tanner Ingle moving from Nickel to Free Safety, Kidd-Glass might have realized he wasn’t going to earn the starting job, and didn’t want to be on the losing end of a position battle once again.
