Good news Sunday morning: NC State safety Khalid Martin has been discharged from a Roanoke hospital today, and he is heading home. They kept Martin in the hospital overnight for observation, after he was injured during a scary collision in the second half of NC State’s loss at Virginia Tech.

Martin was involved in a scary collision while making a tackle—he took an inadvertent shot to his head from a teammate and afterward was immobilized on the field.
