Kevin Keatts may have his problems, but they tend not to crop up against Wake Forest, and Saturday afternoon was no exception. NC State out-classed the Deacs for the vast majority of the game, resulting in a comfortable win for the Wolfpack. State’s biggest lead, at 80-55, came in the waning minutes.
That’s a successful road trip.

The game saw a ragged start from both teams, with some over-eager offense leading to a number of sloppy turnovers. State and Wake traded shots for a while—when they actually got shots—but State began to turn this one around the midpoint of the first half off of back-to-back threes from Cam Hayes.
