NC State O-Line Coach Dwayne Ledford A Serious Candidate for the App State Job

Yesterday Adam Rittenberg of ESPN reported that NC State Offensive Line Coach Dwayne Ledford is a serious candidate for the head coaching job at Appalachian State that recently opened up after the exodus of Scott Satterfield to Louisville.

Hearing that Appalachian State not surprisingly wants a coach with direct ties to the school to succeed Scott Satterfield. Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Nate Woody, NC State associate head coach/OL coach Dwayne Ledford and Georgia Southern defensive coordinator Scot Sloan all will be in the mix. Georgia State coach Sean Elliott could be an option, too, as he played and coached at Appalachian State.
