The NC State Men’s Soccer team went 2-0 last week, with a signature win over #3 Clemson on Friday, and a 2-1 victory over Longwood on Sunday. As a result, the NC State Men’s Soccer team surged into the Top 25 this week, landing at #18.
True Freshman Goalie Leon Krapf earned the ACC Defensive Player of the Week honor for his performance.
Krapf had a great weekend for NC State, playing all 180 minutes in wins over No. 3 Clemson and Longwood. He held the high powered Clemson offense to zero goals, stopping all five shots that came his way.
