Stat guru Ken Pom’s algorithm has cooked up the 2024 Men’s College Basketball Preseason Rankings, and NC State sits at 52nd heading into the season.
NC State finished last season ranked 42nd in KenPom’s rankings. The Wolfpack ranked 48th in Offensive Rating and 38th in Defensive Rating in 2023-24, and the strength of schedule ranked 27th. In the 2024-25 preseason rankings, KenPom ranks the Wolfpack’s Offense 44th, and the Defense ranks 66th.
