NC State spent roughly $10 million to buy out the rest of Kevin Keatts’ contract, as well as those of his assistant coaches. Joe Giglio of the OG Podcast believes that the money likely came from a donor who was passionate about moving the program in a new direction.
It seems like Odom is at the top of UVA’s wishlist to become the next head coach, after Tony Bennett stepped down prior to the 2024-25 season. Bennett was set to make $4.15 million this year.
