At Dave Doeren’s Weekly press conference today, it was revealed that Senior Linebacker Louis Acceus has made the difficult decision to no longer play football due to medical reasons, which are a “continuation” from last years injuries, which led him to miss the final 4 games of the year.
Despite walking away from playing the game, Acceus isn’t walking way from the game. He will be serving as a Student Coach under Dave Doeren at NC State this year.
“It’s hard to see any player not be able to play the game he loves so much, but it’s especially hard when it’s a player like Lou who has done everything right and contributed so much to our team,” said Doeren.
