NC State has landed former 4-star SG and UVA transfer Casey Morsell!
This is a huge get for Kevin Keatts, who needed some depth and experience at the guard position. Morsell is a 6’2, 172lb shooting guard who was recruited heavily by both UVA and Florida. He averaged 4.4 points and a rebound last season in just 15 minutes per game.
Morsell was never a fit offensively for UVA, as his skill set is more suited for an uptempo style. However, he was brought to UVA for his physicality and his dominance on the defensive side of the ball.
