Batts is a super-athlete who is lightning quick, defends well and can really score it. He is exactly the type of player that new head coach Kevin Keatts is targeting.
Batts was committed to VCU before Will Wade made his exit for LSU. Instead of following Wade, Batts decided to stay close to home and play in an offense that seems tailor-made for his skill set.
