The NCAA released the first batch of NET ratings on Monday and NC State starts off in decent shape, at No. 38. That’s similar to the Wolfpack’s spot in the Pomeroy Ratings (46).
NC State’s best win is over No. 64 North Carolina, and it sure would be nice if the Tar Heels could work their way into the top 50 this season. (Though not too far into the top 50. Can’t have ‘em getting a big head over there.)
Saint Louis is 12th and NC State’s next opponent, Clemson, is 15th, which makes the Tigers the highest-rated ACC team at the moment.
