It appears that NC State will be ramping up its use of the Tuffy logo this season—the football team pretty much abandoned the block-S midway through last year, which set the tone for the rest of the athletics department.
Senior associate athletics director posted this update on Instagram Sunday night:
It’s been a while coming, and while I like the block-S, the Tuffy branding is far more distinctive. Nobody’s going to confuse you with Stanford when they see that logo. That’s a big part of this change, I mean other than everyone loving the Tuffy helmets that NC State wore last football season.
