NC State is a finalist for West Virginia transfer forward Oscar Tshiebwe

Former top-50 big man Oscar Tshiebwe left the West Virginia last weekend and plans to enroll at a new school in the second semester. He’s got Zoom meetings set up with both NC State and Miami on Thursday evening, and he’ll meet with Illinois and Kentucky on Friday.

Tshiebwe is a sophomore, and since this season doesn’t count against eligibility, he’ll have three more seasons to play at his new school, if he wants ‘em.

He started 10 games for West Virginia prior to transferring, and was averaging 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
