NC State picked up its third verbal commitment of June when New Jersey athlete Daevon Robinson announced his pledge to the Wolfpack on Tuesday. Robinson was down to the Pack, Rutgers, and UConn.
Robinson is a consensus three-star prospect and ranked amont the top-25 recruits in New Jersey. As a junior in 2016, he played on both sides of the ball for Shawnee High School; he played receiver, ran the ball out of the backfield, and also played as an edge rusher. He caught 29 passes for 225 yards and a score and also racked up 25 tackles.
