NC State announced Sunday the four players who will serve as captains on the 2019 Wolfpack football team: James Smith-Williams, Jarius Morehead, Nick McCloud, and Dylan Autenrieth. Three guys from the defensive side and one from the offense.
Smith-Williams, Morehead, and McCloud form the heart of the defense and if this season ends up a successful one, we’ll get big years from all three. Morehead led all defensive players in snaps played last season and might be the most important part of the secondary heading into this year. JSW is more than capable of an all-conference season, and McCloud just continues to be the best corner on the team—seemingly for like the 8th straight year.
