NC State Head Coach Dave Doeren’s first question he was asked after being crushed by rival UNC on Saturday was if there would be any assistant coaches fired. He said they would be evaluating everything.
Well it didn’t take him long to evaluate the situation at Defensive Coordinator.
Dave Huxtable has been fired as the Wolfpack’s Defensive Coordinator.
“We appreciate all of Dave’s contributions to our program and wish him the best,” said Doeren. “However moving forward defensively, I’ve decided we would like to go in a different direction.”
“The conclusion of a season is a time to reflect, look in the mirror and evaluate the overall direction of a program.
