NC State took two of three from UNC this weekend, and in the process earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming ACC tournament. The Wolfpack finished at 18-12 in league play, in sole possession of second in the Atlantic Division.
The Pack is the top seed in Pool C, which also includes No. 6 Florida State and No. 10 Wake Forest. Pool play begins on Tuesday, though the Pack won’t play until Thursday night when it opens with the Deacs.
To advance out of the pool and reach the semis, NC State simply needs to beat the winner of the FSU/Wake game—those two play on Tuesday afternoon.
