NC State RHP Garrett Payne, who started the “Pack13” game at the 2021 College World Series, has entered the transfer portal, @TheWolfpacker and @On3sports have learned.

Payne has been with the Wolfpack his entire collegiate career, joining the team in 2021 out of Charlottesville, Virginia.
As a True Freshman, Payne pitched in 7 games, but he will be remembered for his lone start of the season against Vanderbilt in the 2021 College World Series.
