Perfect Game has released their 2024 Preseason College Baseball All-American Teams, and NC State Junior Catcher Jacob Cozart was named to their 1st Team.
Baseball America this week ranked Cozart as 1 of the 5 Juniors in College Baseball to know about. Here’s what they said about him:
Cozart might be the best catcher in the nation. He last season hit .301/.392/.546 with 10 home runs and plays standout defense behind the plate. (BA)
In 2023, Cozart earned 2nd Team All-ACC honors as a Sophomore, batting .301 with 10 homers, 14 doubles (2nd on the team), two triples (2nd on the team), 42 RBI and 107 total bases (3rd on the team).
