RALEIGH, N.C. – Headlined by three home runs, including the first career homer and grand slam from junior Lawson McArthur, No. 21 NC State baseball powered past Bucknell, 12-8, Sunday afternoon to complete the series sweep.
The Wolfpack scored seven runs in the seventh inning, which are the most in an inning since March 3, 2018 against Campbell. The win marked the first time that the Pack has swept a season-opening series since 2010 against LaSalle.
Junior Kent Klyman picked up the win (1-0) on the mound and redshirt sophomore Dalton Feeney came on in the ninth to secure the save.
