Virginia Tech freshman wing Landers Nolley has not surprisingly been in high demand since he entered the transfer portal on Monday. Nolley, who is a former top-100 recruit, averaged 15.5 points per game for the Hokies this season.
Nolley already has a laundry list of potential suitors that includes Georgetown, Maryland, UCLA, Oregon, Pittsburgh, UConn, Auburn, Louisville, Memphis, and NC State. Nolley is a traditional undergraduate transfer and will have three years of eligibility remaining at his new school.
His decision to leave Virginia Tech primarily has to do with how he was utilized—he wants to play on the wing but played at the four in Blacksburg.
