Oh man this is a doozy. After a multi-year investigation, the FBI has brought fraud and corruption charges against at least 10 people involved in college basketball, including assistants from Arizona, Auburn, Oklahoma State, and Southern Cal. It appears as well that both Miami and Louisville have been implicated.
Louisville, specifically appears to be in some serious hot water (again). This regards the recruitment of five star forward Brian Bowen, who you may remember committed to the Cardinals very abruptly this spring.
The Cardinals were extremely late to the table with the intriguing wing prospect, but after Bowen visited the campus in late May, things swung heavily in favor of Rick Pitino's program.
