NC State begins regional play this Friday in Lexington, Kentucky, where the Kentucky Wildcats are the top seed and host. If you are not familiar with the NCAA baseball tournament format, the regional round is double-elimination, so one loss doesn’t end your season, but staying out of the loser’s bracket during the first two days significantly improves your chances of advancing.
