Jordan Waters Ties a Career High in NC State’s Season Opening Victory Against WCU

Sometimes you can look at a Box Score and shake your head.

Redshirt Senior Running Back Jordan Waters finished the game with 20 carries for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The 123 yards rushing ties a career high, matching ironically his total against NC State last year as a member of Duke.

What makes you shake your head, is that for a majority of the game, Waters quite simply wasn’t impressive, but his work on the final drive padded his stats in a massive way.

Waters racked up 95 of his 123 rushing yards on NC State’s final offensive drive, which was capped off by a 50-yard touchdown run by the Senior.
