By seasons end, H-Back Jaylen Samuels will have caught more passes than any other player in NC State history.
That’s my prediction of what WILL happen.
Former Wolfpack Wide Receiver Jerricho Cothcery has had a firm grip on this record since 2003, when he finished his career with 200 receptions. He passed the legendary Torry Holt, whose 191 career receptions held the top spot for 5 years.
Currently Samuels has 146 career receptions. For him to tie Cothcery’s record of 200 receptions, he needs to average 5.4 receptions per game for the rest of the regular season.
