Jaylen Samuels’ undefinable excellence forces ACC to add new position to all-conference team

We like to joke around here that Jaylen Samuels plays the Jaylen Samuels position, on account of the fact that he does a whole lot of everything, and he does the everything well. In fact there is now a position on the official All-ACC ballot this year that was inspired by Jaylen Samuels: all-purpose back. There are exactly two choices for voting media members: Samuels and Pitt’s Quadree Henderson.

I am not kidding.

Also lines up with AP All-American team and increasing diversity of offensive players like Samuels

Henderson is more a classic all-purpose speedster at 5’8 and 190 pounds—if he fits in this category, then so does Nyheim Hines—so even he doesn’t really fit this new spot as defined by Jaylen Samuels.
