Former NC State H-Back Jaylen Samuels siezed the opportunity set before him in his second career (and consecutive) NFL start, rushing for 142 yards in the Steelers 17-10 victory over the Patriots.
Samuels averaged 7.5 yards per carry on 19 carries. He also snagged 2 receptions for 30 yards, giving him 172 total yards of offense.
His 142 rushing yards marks the most rushing yards ever by a former NC State player as a running back in the NFL.
Samuels is only the 3rd former NC State running back to rush for 100+ yards in an NFL game.
