Former NC State Tight End David Grinnage is on an NFL active roster for the 1st time since entering the league.
After placing Tight End Austin Seferian-Jenkins on Injured Reserve, the Jaguars were in need of Grinnage’s services, and promoted him from the practice squad.
This is Grinnage’s second season on the Jaguars practice squad, after being released by the Packers in 2016 after agreeing to an injury settlement. Grinnage went undrafted in 2016, but was signed to a free agent deal by the Packers.
Grinnage played 3 seasons at NC State, leaving after his Junior year.
