NC State and Appalachian State have scheduled a home-and-home football series, with the Wolfpack hosting the Mountaineers in 2026, with the 2nd game in Boone in 2028. The Wolfpack and the Mountaineers previously had a home-and-home series scheduled prior to this one, with games set to be played in Boone in 2026 and Raleigh in 2027.
Last year, when NC State agreed to play Virginia in a non-conference home-and-home series (Raleigh – 2025 & Charlottesville – 2026), the series between the Wolfpack and the Mountaineers was canceled. However, at the time, there was an understanding that the series would be rescheduled.
